YEAY! Half the league more!

Yeay! I've crossed the half way mark! Half way more to go! So what's the latest updates? Hmm let's see one of the greatest thing is that I'm having better appetite now... Although I still can't eat after six or seven and I can't eat any complete fast food meal... Half way I will either throw up or feel totally bloated...Yeah fussy kiddo inside.. No fast food at all.. or else out it comes in less than half and hour... I've not had a complete Mac's meal or any fast food meal in the last 5 months! I have gained 2 kgs so far... hehe.. this is good news cause baby is growing fine despite the slow weight gain. I hope it will go on like this :) Siddiq went to the first check up with me yesterday.. This was at KKH (yes... I'm still going to both the govt and private just for the fun of it! hehe.. ) I have not totally decided where to deliver yet actually... I'm enjoying the perks of a public servant at KKH whereas the private one will offer a nearer place of delivery for me... So anyways this fellow enjoys going to the hospital cause he gets to see all the ambulances, UP CLOSE... :) He was running around here and there and YES I had to run with my big tummy and carry him back and forth... A couple of times I missed my turn with the sonographers and the doctor cause he will purposely run away when they called my name! So irritating! And then laugh his evil laughter as he speeds off and glances back to his pregnant mummy chasing after him... and speeds off again... Anyways once we were in the sonographer's office he was so wide eyed and his curiousity kicks in... The sonographer let me up on the examination table and told me to reveal my tummy.. at this point he said, "Mummy, your tummy pain?" The sonographer then put the gel on my tummy for scanning process, seeing that Siddiq immediately stepped on the footstool (used to get up on the examination table) and stood right beside me throughout the entire scanning. He then proceeded to rub the squeezed gel on my tummy all over and seemed to enjoy the yucky feeling of the gel on his hands.. Thoroughly enjoying it and gleefully smiling away... he got even more excited when the sonographer put the screen on showing him the contents of my tummy... What else.. now he wanted to also hold the scanning thingy and move it on my tummy as well! For the first time Siddiq got to see his sibling on the screen! I told him that it was the baby on the tv thingy! And like a sudden realisation... he claimed... "That is a baby..." I don't know if he really understand what was going on or he simply repeated what I said... oh well... He then said "Mummy, tummy not pain?" Hmm... okay... I didn't realise that the sonographer had actually pressed quite hard on my tummy... Cause it began to ache immediately as I left her office.. and today that area is aching horribly!Sheesh! She probed and probed cause it was a detailed scan thingy... Even then she couldn't get a proper reading on the spinal details as the baby was breeched and curved and hence has to come back on Thursday for another scan... sighs... I do not wish to go through another painful episode of probbing! :P So next post I'll talk about the gender of the baby! :)
