One of the many hindi songs I fell in love with and enjoy listening to...

The other day I surprised my mom when I sang along to the above song... It was a song she has not heard herself for quite sometime.... She asked how do I know the song?!

I was surprised myself cause it was all part of a distant memory.... Somehow the lyrics and the tune was embedded in my head all these years... This is not the only song that I seem to remember the lyrics or the tunes... There are many others which I can instantenously sing or hum to... These are songs that were popular before I was even born or even before my parents became teenagers! But they really loved this genre of songs and listened to it a lot when I was young... During those times, somehow I grew to like them a lot too and enjoy singing and humming to the songs... And honestly even today... I love listening and singing along to these golden hindi hits....

Sigh... they sort of transport me to another time and place where love seems to be such a wonderful fairy tale and perfect... With no flaws but only the beautiful lyrics.... Sighs... how nice....
