The Need for A Flat.... Updates on the little one... :)

The lease for my rented apartment ended on 7 Jan 2011. Since then I've asked for extension and manage to squeeze in another 2 months... I've not been staying there since the year started but because I needed a place to put all my things and hence the place comes in handy still for the next two months....

I've applied for BTO and was successful but the downside of it is... it will only be ready in 3- 4 years time... With the new baby coming, I don't think we can manage on rented place till that time... Due to this, I've been searching for a resale flat the past two weeks.. I've locked in one or two particular flats that I really like and we could afford...And they are near my parents place so I can look forward to a few grand off the valuation price! Yippee! Now its just me playing the waiting game... Waiting for the owners to give me a reply and then we can proceed on with the purchase... I'm praying and praying that we can get a place before the baby comes.... So my dear family and friends out there reading this post... Please pray for me on this one! =) I'll be utterly thankful.. hehe... Honestly I've been thinking of it day and night that I can't concentrate on anything else... And it doesn't help that the nausea-ness and the unpredictable appetite gets in the way... to date I've lost 4 kg!! Any other instance, I would be so delighted that I'm losing weight.. heh... But now I just can't help worrying... Which prove to be quite pointless to be worried because I went for a checkup at KKH this week and find out that the little one is doing great and A-Okay! Has grown since I last saw him :)

I couldn't take the entire morning sickness thing and the body aches...So I went to KKH for a free checkup (hehe.. used CS Card you see.. hehe) I got two days MC too... So during the checkup they did a scan and I saw the little one! He (don't ask me why I said he... but when I saw it I just thought it was a he... =/) was so active! Maybe the active-ness made me think it was a he... :P yeah biased point of view.. haha... So yeah he was sooooooooooooo cuttttttttttttttttteeeeeeeee!!! Even the sonologist said so... :) She was like "wow so cute... look at the tiny hands waving it's moving so actively!" I couldn't help but smile goofily looking at that little potato chip look alike waving around.... lol have you seen the Calbee potato chips ad? The baby kinda look like that to me on the screen.... With a big head and tiny body; this is the case when they are still in the first trimester you see.. =) And all the feeling of nausea and the dreaded weeks of loss of appetite were the least of my concern when I saw the baby snuggled cosily in its sac.... waving around its tiny arms.... Ahh..... it's weird that this is my second pregnancy and yet it still feels like the first time!! Hmmm k... the nausea-ness is hitting me again..... :( I really hope it will go away in one weeks time.... Can't wait...
