I thought I was one of the few lucky ones when I was carrying Siddiq...
Slight dizziness, mild fatigue and the occasional gastric was all I suffered from during my first pregnancy... Overall I enjoyed myself for 95% of the time during that 9 months! And the best part of all which made other preggos at that time envious was NO VOMIT at all... and I ENJOYED FOOD! I could eat anything I wanted.. No cravings but no fussiness about food either I could eat anything I want anytime I want...
THIS TIME round.... :( I can barely put anything into my mouth... The thing is I still have not vomited... I'm into my 10th week now and no violent or random vomitting that women always talk about... well you get the idea...
However, I lost appetite... I don't feel like eating anything at all... I have to force myself to eat in the morning in school so that I can take the vitamins and all... Then comes afternoon... EXTREME FATIGUE takes over me.. I just want to sleep... sleep... and sleep... I don't feel hungry... in fact the idea of putting anything in my mouth repulse me! I thought I should be having something for the baby at least but as much as I tried to bring something close to my mouth, instantenously I can't put it in... :( It's been like that for the last one and half months... I even lost 2kg in that process!!! It's been very few rare occasions when I could actually eat and finish the whole meal.... Sighs... worse is that taste I have in my mouth when I try to eat something... this metallic taste that sickens me! I drank orange juice, its there! I drank milo, its there! I even stopped taking my daily needed milk cause it leaves a weird after taste in my mouth! I'm depressed over the fact that I can't enjoy my food and worried that the baby is not getting anything from me at all.. But then again I have a funny gynae that told me my body has enough to go around for me and the baby... :P hahaha so I should not feel that worried I guess??
Other updates about this pregnancy... Summed up below:-
1. I cannot stand my own perfume! I hate it! (CK Eternity) However the other day I enjoyed the smell of cut grass tremendously... I was taking deep whiffs of it unintentionally and stopped when I realise I looked silly and wondering what in the world was I doing??!!
2. Sleeping a lot in the afternooon
3. Peeing a lot more than when I was carrying Siddiq and bad constipation :(
4. Acnes which was the same as Siddiq
5. Dry skin
6. Dizziness/Nauseaness without vomitting
7. Increased in bust size within the first trimester (similar with Siddiq's pregnancy)
8. Cramping... occurs now and then. I realise I didn't have much of those with Siddiq
9. Gastric!!!
10. Short tempered! :P
That's all for now.. Will update more as time or my mind permits!

Although your gynae is right, the fact that there's a metallic taste in your mouth and the worry that you're not able to eat anything at all is not a pleasant feeling. But it will go away soon, inshaAllah. I pray that you have a healthy and food-friendly pregnancy :)
Sue!!! that's GREAT news! Had no idea u were pregnant! Alhamdulillah, bhai's and ur hard work paid off :P
i guess different pregnancies have different level of chemical reactions in our bodies. I was 99% normal when i was pregnant! So much so that i didnt realise i was pregnant till the 11th week lolz
time to take extra care of urself babe, avoid stress and focus on the gud stuff! hope to meet u gals soon! xoxo
Thank you for your prayers Nadia =) I really hope it will go away too..
Hehe..Nisa yes.. we've been trying hard *blushes* but we both really like the idea of having at least 4 kids! ;) With Siddiq like I said I was just like you! I was so happy and nothing pregnant about me except for the growing tummy!
Yikes must be terrible having that metallic taste. Just believe that it will go away one day and the taste will be a distant memory.
Nice tt u lost tt 2kg! I totally agree w the gynae that there's lots of reserved energy in our body to go around for the both of you. Its like when we're fasting lor..
Anyway once again, CONGRATS. Will you clear your calendar on 19th Feb? I'm thinking of having you gals over at my place for lunch.
Thanks Jus! 19th Feb is a Saturday right?! Sure no problems! Insyallah will see you then! I miss hanging out with you all!
Yayy you're blogging again! =D
Yeah every pregnancy is different. My 3rd one so far is easier than my first 2 though. I'm praying that it stays this way.
I'm also very sleepy. I think the fact that I teach PE prevents me from falling asleep, but afternoons are unbearable, esp when there are workshops!
